The campy scream-queen flick by director Jim Wynorski that became a cult classic. I think I won a Hub Cap award for “Breast Actress of the Year,” for this movie!

 

It was a spoof take off of Die Hard (Bruce Willis). I was the Bruce Willis character, but wearing a red teddy and shooting a semi-automatic.

 

The story is 5 girls end up in a tower skyscraper during a “terrorist” attack. The script exceptionally crafted and of course the sprinklers go off so we all end up with wet T shirts, then a little more gratuitous nudity when the only shops left are a lingerie shot and a gun shot, hence the red teddy and semi-automatic.

 

And they were real guns! I had a quick army gun training course, then the crew was covered in bullet proof screens and I was standing there in lingerie!

The funny story behind this movie was that it was produced by Roger Corman’s wife Linda Corman, as a little side bet. Roger had had this amazing set built for his Big Budget movie (well Roger’s view of big budget). Roger and his wife went on vacation for 2 weeks, so Roger’s wife assigned Wynorski to do the movie in Roger’s set while they were gone. The entire movie was shot in 2 weeks on a shoestring budget. In the end it far out grossed Roger’s big budget film and became a huge cult classic.
